One of the Earthly Lifetimes of the Great God

Mostly I think this is abstracted from Menon's version of Bhagavata Purana which itself is a glorious wonderful read. The story of Krishna's birth, boyhood, love life, kingship, his sea city, his role in the Mahabharata and his recitation of the magnificent Gita, the Song of God, are all beyond description in words for their beauty and power to enlighten and reassure,

I had red the Mahabharata but this one goes deeper into krishna's life and origins helping the reader I am connect with him deeply .... I felt relieved by the story as if the story was within my own humanity and yet I was part of Him.... Beautifully written

It's a great story and I loved the writing

It's a great story and I loved the writing, but half of it reads like a religious text. You would do just as well to read the Baghavad Gita, though this version is much shorter.
