Fails on Every Level

Sadly, this is a rather pathetic offering. It fails on every level. As a BDSM (or spanking fetishist) introduction, it contains only very basic, rudimentary information. All of the information on the BDSM lifestyle contained therein can easily be found on the internet for free. Although it does explain all the basics of the dominant/submissive lifestyle, it assumes that all relationships must be male-dominant. Why is this? Because (according to Leah Kelly) it is ordained by God! lol. Am I kidding? I wish. But does it argue a convincing case for this? No. She cites only one biblical passage, Peter 1 Peter 3:1. If you want to see Leah Kelly argue the position that corporal punishment is ordained by God, check out her book , "Understanding Christian Domestic Discipline" (sadly though, that book fails as well, but that's another story). Lest you think I bear any animosity towards Leah Kelly, I do not. I must admit that I thought her book, "Spanking Romance Stories: Naughty Bloomers Collection" was an entertaining piece of spanking erotica set in the 1800s.
Regardless, I feel morally obligated to address a glaring problem with ALL of Leah Kelly's work. She attempts to enshrine something that should be a personal choice between consenting adults (i.e. spanking fetishism), as a moral obligation commanded by God. I have a huge problem with that. Whenever something becomes an article of faith, reason often fails, becoming defunct before the unregenerate and puerile lies of those who would mislead in the name of God. I am smart enough to see through her tactics. Most people are smart enough to see through her tactics. However, I fear that there may be a small segment of the population that may try to use her books as a justification for abuse, spousal or otherwise. I hope I'm wrong, I hope I'm wrong...

WTF happened to marriage being a partnership?

She writes as if, her husbands word is law. She is apparently responsible for everything that he tells her to be, while he owes her nothing but a distant, fatherly "guidance."
She is a misguided BDSM sub who is trying to reconcile that closet obsession with her naïve beliefs, plain and simple.
Although she is the "author" of this book, she will never understand what a Domestic Discipline" relationship is. A marriage, a relationship, goes two ways...she talks of honoring her partner, by keeping her promises and submissively accepting her punishment when she fails. In a real DD relationship, HE would not be above the law, and would owe her the same promises and submission for the times when HE fails HER.
She's a naïve housewife who likes to be "put in her place" and doesn't understand how that ties in with her love of God, (which it does and can, by the way; she just doesn't get how) ...
"Honor and Obey," Mrs. Kelley. That goes for BOTH of you. Not just the ignorant slave you crave to be.
Oh: and would you take a writing class FFS? I've read better blogs from high school students.
