Dr. Kun Peng received his bachelor’s degree in software and master’s degree in computer security from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He graduated from the Information Security Institute, Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2004, obtaining his PhD degree in information security. His main research interest is in applied public key cryptology. His main research interests include applied cryptology, network security, secure e-commerce, and e-government.

About the Author
Dr Keith Coaley is a chartered occupational and clinical psychologist, having many years of experience as an applied psychologist, trainer and lecturer at both HE and university levels. After a first undergraduate degree, he did a second degree in psychology with the Open University before a Master’s degree at Cardiff University and another later in forensic and legal psychology at Leicester University. He was awarded his PhD for his research in stress, health and job performance at Manchester. Having extensive experience of psychological assessment in practice, he has researched and published on topics relating to the fields of psychometrics and assessment. He has experience of work in Human Resources, in consultancy and in the National Health Service and prison settings, and has worked in the UK, Ireland, the Far East and Africa.

The authors' use of case studies and real-life examples makes this more than a textbook -- and much more readable than one. I found myself excited about reading each chapter. And I know I'll be looking up things in it in the future. My only quibble is that I found many copyediting errors that I hope the publisher will fix for future editions.

A great young adult novel about women being owned and fighting the justice system.

I enjoyed the series. It talk a lot about domestic violence and women rights. I enjoyed the way each of these women endured and conquered.
Some people talked about how slowly the romances developed. These were teenagers and since I have a teenager I would hope a real relationship would take a while to happen. They should take their time in becoming friends before moving on. It has magic and adventure.

This series was really fun to read

This series was really fun to read. In fact, I read the whole series in less than a week! Five very strong women face a cruel world where men posses and use magic while women are owned and used for the magic in their blood. Through their journey, they discover their worth as human beings and fight to change their world for the better.

Liked the first, really liked the second, the third wasn't that great, and the 4th was just okay. Weird pacing at times through the books, some scenes seemed to drag on forever and other times, it wish it would just slow down and enjoy the moment. Takes many of the character couples forever to get together. Very clean series as far as sexual content. I would probably recommend to buy the first two books, but stop right after the tournament winner is announced.
